Mom and Dad visited us last summer. It was a great visit and here are just a few pictures. Time always goes by too fast. Great memories!
A visit to the Rasmuson Museum. We learned all about the history of Alaska and the different native tribes. We went on a tour and seen many interesting artifacts.

You can't go to Alaska with out getting a picture of a moose!

We did some sight seeing. This is Mom and Dad at the Matanuska Glacier. Beautiful!
King fishing. We chartered a fishing boat to take us up the Little Sustina River to do some King fishing. Dad was the only one who caught a fish that day.
Halibut Fishing. We drove to Homer, and then the next day we all flew on a little puddle jumper to the native village of Seldovia. There we went out on a chartered fishing boat. Our halibut adventure was unforgettable! The weather was bad, the waves were huge, causing the boat to throw us. More than half of us were sea sick. This picture is Rick and Captain Dave helping mom stand up while pulling in a halibut. And Dad, he was the hero of the day! He fished his heart out and reeled in the biggest fish.

This is all of us with our catch for the day. Solid ground was looking pretty good as we arrived back at the dock.

Mom reeling in a "big one". She is so fun to watch. This is at Homer, fishing on the spit at 11:00 pm.

Of course, getting to the best fishing spot always requires little more effort.

Mom and Dad fishing the Kenai River. It is beautiful!

Dad, spraying the Pitcher Electric box truck. He climbed on that truck like a young kid. That was a great project to have dad help us with!

They even talked at a "Fireside" for our ward on their mission to Nauvoo. They did such a great job! I think we wore them out. Hope they come back soon!
