Rick, Brooks, and David have had the opportunity to work in some of the remote villages in Alaska. One village in particular, that Rick has done a lot of work in is Savoonga , on St. Lawrence Island, in the Bering Sea. The island is actually located only 4o miles from Siberia. The native Yupik's (Eskimos) are descendants of Russian Eskimos. Many of them are world famous ivory carvers.
Bob and Fritz are two Yupik's from Savoonga. They are Rick's helpers when he is there working in their village.
Frozen Spotted seal -center, just brought back to the village after a hunt.
Whale bones waiting to be made into native carvings.

Cool post Mom! The raw, rotting meat STILL makes me sick to look at it.
