Salmon Spawning Field Trip

We were able to be with some of our grand kids at a school field trip. The Fish and Wildlife were there to teach them about different salmon and how they spawn.
This is them adding the milt from the male to the salmon eggs they just squeezed from the female. Wow, we never did this neat of stuff in elementary school.... or even high school.
They were all pretty captivated! This is so cute with Lexi trying to hold Adi up so she could see.
Most entertaining and educational. Who needs the "birds and the bees" talk when they can be shown with a demonstration with a male and female salmon!
