2010 Thanksgiving

"A grateful heart, then, comes through expressing gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His blessings and to those around us for all that they bring into our lives. This requires conscious effort - at least until we have truly learned and cultivated an attitude of gratitude. Often we feel grateful and intend to express our thanks but forget to do so or just don't get around to it. Someone has said that 'feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.' "

~ President Thomas S. Monson,

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year! David and Rosie generously had the whole family over to celebrate and give thanks for our many blessings. And this family has been so blessed?
Our family has been blessed with 11 wonderful grand kids. Each one is so special and unique. We love each and every one!Our Thanksgiving feast was wonderful. The company was GREAT. And love was shared. What a blessed day! We always need to get those family pictures!

♥ Connie

Yay! Good post Maja! You're on a roll, the rest of us need to be more like you, in more ways than one that is for sure. It was a good Thanksgiving with great company! Thanks everyone for everything, especially the yummy food. :) Thanks for that quote from our dear Prophet, now I really feel bad about not being good at Thank you cards. Well, another thing to put on my list of things to work on. Love you and you must be having a fabulous time celebrating your anniversary because you and Dad are MIA. :) XOXO
