Labor Day ~ HARVEST PARTY!

We had our annual, end of summer harvest party. It was especially fun being able to share it with family that was visiting from Utah and our friends that just moved here!
THE INVITATION:
It took me a good week prior to the event to make this "APPLE" pinata. AND.... of course we had to have carmel apples!
David and Rosie let us have it at there house to accommodate the large crowd.
The "GIRLS" making crafts: bracelets and pins....embellished with apples.
Rosie did the face painting.... apples again!

What's an apple party without apple bobbing! The kids and young at heart loved this one.The two babies also had their turn at apple bobbing.
We had target shooting was bows and arrows. The target.... an apple.
The "MEN"
The "WOMEN", plus Cole.... wasn't enough bows so he agreed to be with us women.... maybe it was just to show us up..... which couldn't be hard!
All the kids had their shot... or two or three!
RELAY races.... even the "OLD" young at heart participated!

Apples between the legs and apples pass under the chin.

THE PINATA! ALWAYS A HIT..... no pun intended!
Did I mention we had a wonderful dinner, which I didn't get any pictures of. I guess I was busy eating.
It was a wonderful day with family and friends to bring summer to a close and enjoy our short fall.
