Our Trip to UTAH

Our Trip to Utah was Great! I'll touch on a few things we did: We stayed in Salt Lake City for 3 days. We spent a full day on Temple Square; the museum, Genealogy Library, Tabernacle, Visitor Center, Lion's House, Admin. Building, Joseph Smith Memorial Building, Conference Center, and the grounds were spectacular! Then on to Lehi to Cabelas...Rick loved it! Then back at Salt Lake, we visited with Aunt Verda and strolled through Trolley Square and the Gateway Mall....went to Park City and visited with Kandis and Clair (Rick's sister), then on to Cache Valley....where the temperature was in the high 80's and low 90's.....we were dying of heat! We stayed with Dina and Floyd (Rick's sister) and had a great visit with them. We also visited with Terri and Bob (Rick's sister) and Shari and Jeff (Rick's sister). We so enjoyed all of them. Rick hadn't seen his sisters for 7-10 years. We also visited with some great family friends from Franklin Idaho, Keith and Irene. We reminisced and laughed with all of them......great times. We also had a family reunion on the Rasmussen side. It was great to see Mom and Dad, Keith and Jan, Paul and Kim and some dear nieces. We had a great time; had an auction, dutch oven cooking, played games, went on a tour of a print shop, had Family Home Evening, and went to the cabin. There, up Paris canyon, it was cooler!!!!!! and we went on a 4-wheeler ride to an ice cave, had great food and fire works at night.....in the dark, something that we have not seen for 2 months, since it doesn't get "dark" here in Alaska right now. We said our good byes to family and friends and Utah. We won't take so long next time to visit! Thanks to all.....great times!
